The Ingram Micro Commerce and Lifecycle Services acquired several businesses in 2017, making the business unique to the industry. A full lifecycle of products, from forward fulfillment to returns and resale, IMCLS now had a unique challenge: How does the customer understand  this full offering of services?

Lifecycle of Services

The main homepage has undergone 2 redesigns in my time at IMCLS. The first design focused on the 3 main pillars: Foward Logistics, Reverse Logistics and ITAD. The second redesign focused on showcasing the full capabilities on the homepage from the industries IMCLS serves, to the customers and technologies powering the global leader in logistics. It also called for a full overhaul of the website.

When I started at Ingram Micro, the BU was called Ingram Micro Commerce and Fulfillment. After our business acquired two new businesses, we became Ingram Micro Commerce and Lifecycle Services. Two years later, after five acquisitions, we became Ingram Micro Services.

Over the course of 6.5 years, we developed a number of case studies featuring videos, statistics, and interactive information.

Filter Functionality
& Behaviors

Due to the size of the business, the site had several pages of blogs, over 200 locations, and numerous guides and resources that could take users a while to sort through. Together with our UX designer, we designed and built out the filtering experience for the IMCLS blog, the Resource Center, and the Locations page.
